The "Cowhorn" chair is one of the Wegner's most abstract and organic designs. The swelling and tapering form of its backrail is reminiscent of Juhl's work. Wegner designed a very similar chair in 1961, the "Bull chair". ( PP Møbler ) |

カウホーン（牛の角）チェア。 材はマホガニー、座は籐で編まれています。 背の曲線からは、 フィン・ユール の世界一美しい肘掛けが、思い起こされます。 およそ１０年後、ウェグナーはこの椅子とたいへん似かよった、ブルチェアをデザインしています。 カウホーンチェアもブルチェアも、堅いマホガニーの赤褐色がお似合いですね。 |
